On Thursday, February 24, Mykola Tomenko, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, will make a working visit to Zhytomyr region.

M. Tomenko will meet the teaching board and students of Zhytomur Ivan Franko State University and present educational projects of ‘Ridna Kraina´ Fund.

The Deputy Chairman will also meet the local journalists and present the CD "Audio Course for Ukrainian Children" to the pre-school establishments of the city.

On occasion of the 140^th anniversary of Lesia Ukrainka birth (February 25), Mykola Tomenko will present motanky-dolls made by famous specialist N. Sizyryniuk according to the exclusive ornaments of Lesia Ukrainka to the Literature-Memorial Museum of Lesia Ukrainka in Novohrad-Volynskyi town.
